Dr. Dale Ellenburg began his ministry as pastor of Dotson Memorial on January 14,
2007.
Dr. Ellenburg came to Maryville from the Memphis area where he was the
Associate Pastor
for Preaching at Kirby Woods Baptist Church, as well as
the Vice President for Academics
at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary
in Germantown, TN.
Brother Dale is a graduate of Easley High School in Easley, SC, Anderson Baptist
College,
Central Wesleyan College and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary
where he received
his Ph.D. in 1993. He and his wife Constance have two children.
He has also been involved
as a denominational worker having served as a member
of associational, state, and Southern
Baptist Convention committees.
Dr. Ellenburg is a strong conservative, evangelical preacher of God's Word. He is a warm-hearted man of God, a strong leader and a man who wants to follow explicitly the will of God for his life and the life of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church.
