Children's MinistrySunday School:Age-graded classes are available for all children. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Children's Church: During the second Sunday morning Worship Service, the Pastor will excuse the children approximately 5 years-11 years old to attend Children's Church. This ministry was created to teach children how to praise and serve the Lord Jesus Christ and is aimed at preparing the children to enter the church body of Christ. For example, children will be given opportunities to lead others to Christ, pray for the sick, minister to others at the children's church altar, help teach classes, etc. Children's Music Ministry: This ministry consists of two classes, K-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade. It includes praise and worship songs along with music and drama. Meets Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Sunday School Department.
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students. The AWANA goal is to reach kids, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA blends Bible teaching, scripture memorization, and tons of fun. AWANA meets in the CAC on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Summer Kid's Camp: Discover evidence of God's creation in nature. Campers will enjoy a full week of fun activities including recreation and sports, arts and crafts, morning devotions, midday Bible stories that tell of God's love and be invited to follow Jesus as their Savior. Kids will also receive a camp t-shirt. Vacation Bible School (VBS): In VBS we learn about God's Son, Jesus Christ, and learn to build a closer relationship with Him and respond to His love. Through Bible study, music, crafts, recreation, missions and hearing the ABCs of becoming a Christian, our hope is to lead children to Christ. Girls in Action (GAs) Girls in Action (GA) has a 90-year legacy of ministering to girls and assisting them to minister to their world through missions education. Join GAs in the journey of developing the next generation of Christian leaders who will influence their homes, communities, and world. GAs meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Royal Ambassadors (RAs)
Royal Ambassadors learn to do their best to become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ; to have a Christ-like concern for all people; to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world; to work with others in sharing Christ; and to keep himself clean and healthy in mind and body. RA’s meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
