Adult MinistriesBible Study Our Bible Study program is the heartbeat of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Each Sunday morning the church family gathers to study God's inspired Word. We offer a full range of adult classes to include those for singles and young adults. DiscipleshipSunday evenings, prior to the worship service, our church provides unique training opportunities for the church family. Each quarter, adults choose from a variety of classes designed to address their needs and interests. Examples of topics covered include family issues, doctrine, stress management, and leadership development. Adult ChoirThis choir provides special music for the Sunday worship services of the church. It is composed of adults of all ages. No audition is required, but rehearsal is necessary. Rehearsal is Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. For special programs such as Christmas and Easter musicals, practice is Sunday evenings following the worship service. Single Adult Ministry The best one word description of this ministry is ACTIVE. Our singles are involved in Bible Study, mission trips, retreats, social and recreational activities, and service projects. We offer two Sunday School classes for the singles...Singles 25-39 and Singles 40+. Not only do we minister to singles here at Dotson Memorial but singles are also vitally involved in ministering to others in our church family. Nursing Home Ministry The staff appreciates and the residents eagerly await the visits from our church! Dotson Memorial holds services for area nursing homes one Sunday afternoon for each quarter.
