About Dotson Memorial Baptist Church

Loving God...Loving People. That's what Dotson Memorial Baptist Church is about. In 1940, a small group of people joined together to minister to people in the area along Morganton Road in Southwest Blount County. Today our world includes the strategically located area of Blount and Loudon Counties that has exploded to include businesses and residences that were unimaginable in 1940. And we are still loving God, loving people. We do not have to look at the past to see the Lord's blessings on His church or look at the present to know that He is using His Church. It is evident to look to the future and know by what has happened in the past that as long as the people of Dotson Memorial will follow His footsteps, the best is yet to come!

Dotson Memorial Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, and we believe the Bible is the infallible, God-breathed Word of God. We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life and that all Scripture points to Him, our Lord and Savior and the Bible is the authority for the way we should practice our faith.

The worship services at Dotson Memorial include Sunday Morning Worship, Sunday Evening Worship, and Wednesday mid-week Prayer Meeting. Each service is a dynamic worship service where the Word is preached, and the great hymns of faith as well as praise choruses are sung. There are wonderful opportunities to get involved in everything from music, to missions and recreation.
